About

A named person, not a bench.

Farrukh Qayyum Rizwani runs a solo IT consultancy for teams that want senior judgment on AI, web platforms, and architecture — and someone who will still be the same person on the last call as the first.

The practice

FQR is built for the stretch where a company is past the prototype and not yet a machine. That is when AI gets bolted on, websites get rewritten in a panic, and architecture decisions get made in Slack because nobody wants to own them.

The work is hands-on. Advice is written so it can be argued with. Delivery is scoped so it can end.

Direct line

Write when the constraint is real.

How Farrukh works in the room

Plain language

If a choice cannot be explained without a glossary, it is not ready for a board or a build.

Code when it helps

Diagrams are not a substitute for a spike. If the risk is in the implementation, the work goes there.

No mystery retainers

You know what the hours are for. When the system can stand, the engagement closes.

Respect for the team already there

The job is to raise the ceiling, not to replace the people who will live with the result.
